TEESSIDE STUDENTS GRADUATE AS YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT HITS ONE MILLION

Students were on a high as they celebrated their graduation day just as figures were released stating over one million young people are currently unemployed.

Teesside students leave their options open furthering their education by studying a postgraduate degree.

Unemployment is constantly on the rise and has recently peaked at one million young people between the ages of 16 and 24, resulting in students been faced with the liklihood of ‘signing on’ once they have graduated.

For many students who are looking to start a postgraduate course it allows them more time and opens up more opportunities for them once they have finished.

Giving them hope that the unemployment rate will have decreased in a couple of years.
